Hello! My name is Kim and I'm married to the guy I met in my college accounting class - romantic, right?! We have three kids: a 6-year-old son, a 4-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. They keep me busy as a stay-at-home mom, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My days are filled with keeping the house running, serving at church, school events, preschool playdates, and of course... scrapping! It has definitely become my creative outlet and I love it because we also end up with books of family memories that we will look at for years.
I've been doing some form of scrapbooking basically forever, starting with the photo albums I put together growing up and the high school yearbook I was the editor of. And I have always LOVED taking photos. But I started scrapping digitally at the end of 2008. My friend introduced me to Photoshop, I made our family Christmas card that year, and I was hooked. It is a learning process - there is always something new to try and lots of inspiration to draw from. But that is another thing I love about it. I've never "arrived" at a scrapbook style - I can always try something new!
Yes, I admit to having a slight obsession with taking pictures and scrapbooking!! And my hubby (who is so sweetly supportive of this "hobby") has made sure I can scrap away with a good laptop, Photoshop CS5, and pictures taken with my Canon EOS Rebel T1i and Sigma 30mm F1.4 lens.
